What Is a Jibe Ambassador
A Jibe Ambassador is a rider who supports our local retail store, Jibe at the Engine Block. You get support from Jibe and our partner brands to help you and your bike stay dialed.
Be Local
We are looking for exceptional riders who live in or around Salt Lake City and are active in the local bicycle scene. You should be out riding, racing, and representing Jibe around town and on the trails.
Connection to the Jibe Brand
You ride Jibe, you back Jibe, and you help bring people into Jibe. That looks like using Jibe products or partner products, hanging out at the shop, posting and tagging Jibe on social media, and telling people about the cool things we have going on. Be the kind of rider people want to ride with. If you are stoked on Jibe, show it.
Riding Level
Ambassadors should be strong riders at the Expert, Cat 1, or Pro level, with skills and experience that match that classification.
Proven Competitive Performance
You should consistently place in the top 10% of your category at relevant races or events. Your results show that you put in the work and take your riding seriously while still keeping it fun.
Alignment with Jibe’s Core Values
You fit with what Jibe is about: innovation, outdoor adventure, and community engagement. You are excited about new gear and ideas, you love being outside, and you care about building up the local riding community.
Professional Conduct
Represent Jibe in a positive way on and off the bike. Show respect, sportsmanship, integrity, and a good attitude. When people see you at an event or out on the trail, they should think, “That rider reflects Jibe well.”
Marketing and Brand Representation
You are willing and able to help us tell our story. That means sending us quality photos or videos of you riding, tagging, and mentioning Jibe and our partner brands, and being open to working with us on content that promotes both you, the shop, and the brand.
Teamwork and Collaboration
You get along with your teammates, other riders, and the Jibe crew. You are easy to ride with, easy to talk to, and someone who adds to the overall vibe of the team and the community.
Riding Portfolio
When you apply, include a rider profile that covers your race and event history, notable results, and photos of you in action. The best reference you can have is an existing Jibe rider who is willing to vouch for you.
